Charlotte Dawson breaks down as she sees baby’s resemblance to late dad in scan

Charlotte Dawson got emotional after her latest baby scan after spotting a startling resemblance to her late dad in her bundle of joy.

The former Celeb’s Go Dating star, 28, who is expecting her first child with footballer Matthew Sarsfield, broke down as she told her fans that she could see her dad’s face in her baby boy’s scan.

Charlotte’s father, late comedian Les Dawson, died unexpectedly aged 62 of a heart attack when she was just 8 months old.

Although she doesn’t remember her dear dad, the much-loved telly star has previously revealed that she feels a close spiritual bond with the famed comic.

So, it came as no surprise that Charlotte became overwhelmed when an eagle-eyed fan pointed out Les’ face in the scan of her unborn son.

Sharing the screenshot with her one million Instagram followers, the expectant mum revealed that she burst into tears upon seeing the image.

“One of my lovely followers has sent me this from my scan video on my post before this … saying it’s my dads face in the black circle, can anyone see it????” she wrote.

“How weird !!!!!! If you don’t that’s fine. But I can see it …”.

It didn’t take long for adoring admirer’s and Charlotte’s celebrity pals to share their thoughts on the emotive image with many claiming they could clearly see Les’s face.

Former TOWIE star Ferne McCann penned: “I can see it.”

Meanwhile, Atomic Kitten singer Jenny Frost wrote: “Beautiful- your angel watching over x”.

Another fan gushed: “Wow! This is incredible. He’s here watching over you and your beautiful family and he wants you to know it. This is incredible!”.

“I can see it. I think anyone who is spiritual will be able to see this so clearly. It’s so amazing” a fourth fan added.

Charlotte’s baby boy is due to arrive just one week before Les’s 90th birthday on January 25.
