She’s been described as the Strictly ballroom Dancing Queen by judge Motsi Mabuse – and Caroline Quentin has her sights set firmly on the Glitterball trophy.
The Men Behaving Badly star has had the full support of her husband thrown behind her as he shows his encouragement for his wife in the best way this week.
As his Strictly Come Dancing star wife dons her dancing shoes this weekend, Sam Farmer will be slipping into his epic supportive socks.
The 60-year-old Jonathan Creek star took to her Instagram to reveal how her hubby, who she met when he was working as a runner on the set of Men Behaving Badly, is rooting for her this weekend.
Caroline posted a hilarious snap of Sam’s feet adorned with a pair of red socks, which feature her and professional dance partner Johannes Radebe’s faces printed all over.
She captioned the snap, gushing over her husband, who is 11 years her junior, as she wrote: “My husband @samfarmer_co sent me a pic of his feet … he loves me and @johannesradebe.”
Sam’s support comes after it was revealed Caroline was heartbreakingly forced to leave her family behind for the second time this year.
The actress had only just come out of a Covid “bubble” after making a movie with Liz Hurley before she appeared on the BBC1 show.
This year’s dancers and contestants are being forced to live in bubbles during the competition and strict social-distancing rules being adhered to on the show.
“The hardest thing for me is going to be not being able to see Sam, my husband, and the kids,” she revealed to the Mirror ahead of the show’s launch.
It comes as professional dancer Katya Jones and her celebrity partner Nicola Adams have been forced to pull out of the BBC contest just a few weeks in after Katya tested positive for Covid-19.
Katya, who is asymptomatic, tested positive on Tuesday. She had been training with boxer Nicola that day and the day before.
