Caroline Flack’s former boyfriend’s cryptic post amid Lottie Tomlinson claims

Lewis Burton has shared a cryptic post about happiness amid rumours he’s ‘growing close’ to Lottie Tomlinson.

The model, who was in a relationship with Caroline Flack before her tragic suicide in February, spoke about “treasuring every moment” and the need to “dance like no one’s watching”.

It comes after he was seen looking very cosy with Louis Tomlinson’s sister Lottie on a night out last weekend amid claims they bonded over their shared grief.

He shared a picture of himself looking dapper in a suit during a modelling shoot as he quoted Catholic prelate Alfred D. Souza’s writing on finding happiness.

The quote said: “For a long time it had seemed to me that life was about to begin – real life.

“But there was always some obstacle in the way, something to be gotten through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, or a debt to be paid. Then life would begin.

“At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life.”

Lewis then explained why he shared the quote, writing: “This perspective has helped me to see that there is no way to happiness. Happiness is the way.

“So, treasure every moment that you have and treasure it more because you shared it with someone special, special enough to spend your time…and remember that time waits for no one.”

He urged his followers to stop waiting for things to happen before they start enjoying life.

Lewis added: “Happiness is a journey, not a destination. Work like you don’t need money.

“Love like you’ve never been hurt. And dance like no one’s watching.”

Lewis and Lottie are said to have grown close over the last few months after bonding over their shared grief.

Lottie’s mum Johannah Deakin died of leukaemia aged 43 in 2016 and she lost her younger sister Felicite, 18, following a drugs overdose.
