Carole Baskin Gets Sued By The Daughters Of Don Lewis – Details!

According to new reports, Carole Baskin is being sued by the daughters of her still missing husband, Don Lewis, for defamation! The daughters, Gale, Lynda and Donna, as well as his former executive assistant, Anne McQueen, now claim that the woman was ‘complicit with jokes’ about her ex’s passing while on DWTS.

The court documents were first obtained by ET and read in part that: ‘When judges brought up TikTok videos inspired by her storyline in Tiger King,’ Carole Baskin played along.

As you most likely already know, the story about Lewis’ disappearance was first featured on Tiger King since Joe Exotic accused Carole, in the docuseries, that she was involved in his death, something the woman has been denying, of course.

The lawsuit filed by Lewis’ family now argues that Carole Baskin did not slam, nor correct the insensitive jokes about Lewis that were made on Dancing with the Stars.

Not only that, but the daughters accuse Carole of also being complicit with jokes about her ex while on Good Morning America earlier this month when she made light of the murder suspicions saying that she would ‘really kill it next week’ on the dancing competition.

Lewis’ family attorney, Jon Phillips also released a statement via ET in which he claims that they filed a suit for defamation and other breaches since Baskin settled a slander claim from McQueen in 1998, paying $50K.

The statement reads: ‘These exact same false statements, and additional ones, are being made again in 2020. It is malicious. Making matters worse, Howard Baskin is making these same statements publicly, as is Big Cat Rescue. As such, they have been added as Defendants.’

‘Carole Baskin goes on YouTube, Facebook and does blogs every single day getting out her narrative. It’s landed her on a major TV show, Dancing with the Stars. She was the featured person in all the commercials and last to dance. All the messaging about Carole and her fame comes at their peril. There was Tiger King — and it focused on the exotic animal industry — but a lot of it was about the death and disappearance of Don Lewis. A lot of her contention with Joe Exotic was about whether she was involved in Don Lewis’ death,’ the lawyer argued, in part.
