Carol Vorderman and lookalike daughter Katie mistaken for ‘sisters’ in near identical snap
Carol Vorderman’s daughter Katie King, 29, was mistaken for her ‘younger sister’ as they posed together for an identical snap to promote the former Countdown star’s new project The Maths Factor
Carol Vorderman’s daughter Katie King was her doppelganger as they posed together for an identical snap.
The former Countdown star looked ageless as she stood next to Katie, 29, to promote her project The Maths Factor.
The Pride of Britain host, 59, has used her time in lockdown to create a scheme which will help children with maths amid the coronavirus pandemic.
To promote her new series, the star posed with her lookalike daughter.
Sharing the photo on Twitter, Carol wrote: “Newly out today…..Year 7 Maths on my maths school @themathsfactor.
“The teachers are me AND my daughter Katie @KKing_5 (now a research scientist…..and a great teacher herself) #LikeMotherLikeDaughter.”
Carol looked sensational as she wore a tight-fitting black top with matching trousers, while her daughter chose to wear a red long-sleeve top and black pencil skirt.
Fans loved the snap, with some leaving sweet comments underneath the photo.
One wrote: “You look like sisters.”
Another shared: “One proud mummy…dame carol..”
A third added: “Wow, wat a lovely sight girls !! Good luck 2 mother + daughter, may be i can get taught how to + and ÷ too !!!”
Carol shares her daughter with ex-husband Patrick King.
She also has a son Cameron, 23, with her ex.
The mother and daughter duo share a very close relationship and often attend the Pride of Britain Awards together as Carol has hosted it every year so far.
Carol’s daughter has got brains and beauty as last year she was finishing her PhD in nanotechnology at Cambridge University and “loves her science”, according to her mother.
