Callum Izzard has opened up on stepping into the world of business and how vastly different and challenging it is in comparison to being on reality TV.

The 27-year-old rose to fame as he appeared as a holiday rep on Ibiza Weekender.

He has since appeared on Celebs Go Dating, Ex On The Beach, Celebrity Karaoke Club and more. Callum has even made some close pals in the showbiz world including Kerry Katona.

Callum was even in a romance with Too Hot To Handle’s Chloe Veitch last year and was also briefly engaged to Love Island star Georgia Steel.

But, the star’s latest venture has seen him veer away from the world of reality TV as he has launched his vodka brand Amare Vodka.

Callum has revealed to the Mirror that he enjoys being on reality TV so won’t be turning his back on the small screen anytime soon but, is also excited for the new adventure.

He said: “Reality TV has been a great experience for me and I’m not being cocky by no means but I don’t know anyone else’s personality that can thrive more in those scenarios and create quality fun television? It’s just me being me.

“However, launching Amare Vodka has been a totally different experience. It’s been a challenge, a learning curve and a really amazing opportunity to creative something into huge and become a household name with a household company.”

Callum launched his vodka brand earlier this year and revealed he has learned so many new things on the way.

He said: “Becoming an entrepreneur has really put my skills to the test and I love it. It’s taught me so much about business, about digging deep, being creative, battling set backs and pushing a dream to success.”

However, the Ibiza Weekender star’s new project isn’t a completely solo one as he has teamed up with his friends Jake Chapman-Brown and Isaac Mayne.

Gushing over their partnership, Callum added: “I’m so grateful to my co-founders.

“Finding a really decent pair of lads who I no class as brothers to grow this business with them has been the making of Amare Vodka.

“They say if you do something you love then you’ll never work a day in your life. It feels like every day is a journey with these guys and I’m lucky to have them. We have each other’s backs, even when things get tough.”

While Callum has no plans to quit reality TV anytime soon, it’s clear the star has found his true passion away from the screen.

He said: “My entrepreneurial journey is just getting started and I’m genuinely buzzing for the future. Reality stuff is a walk in the park but this is the real deal. I’ve said it once and I’ll said it a thousands times, Amare to the moon baby!”
