Brooklyn Beckham has shown support for his fiancée Nicola Peltz after she shared her sorrow that her late grandmother won’t see her marry.

The 21-year-old son of David and Victoria Beckham responded to a moving post by Nicola, 25, as she appeared tearful in lamenting her grandmother passing before the wedding day.

The actress took to Instagram on what would have been her grandmother’s birthday to pen a heartbreaking letter to her beloved nan, after she passed away in January.

Brooklyn responded by saying that Nicola’s grandmother would “always” be with her and that he was “so so proud” of his future wife.

Nicola had posted three photos of her nan on Instagram, one in which she is holding her hands and another which see her grandmother holding a rose.

A third snap shows Nicola pushing her grandmother in a wheelchair as they walk along the street.

Writing alongside the photos, Nicola’s moving tribute read: “Happy birthday to my angel in heaven.

“I can’t even put into words how much i miss you being on earth. i wish so badly you could come back to visit me and see me get married.

“I think about you everyday. i love you with all of my heart my gina.” [sic]

Brooklyn showed his support for his fiancée by commenting: “She will always be with you my baby ❤️❤️ so proud of you and we all love u so so much.”

Nicola revealed in January that her grandmother had passed away in a heartbreaking tribute at the time.

She wrote: “My heart is broken doesn’t even touch what i feel right now. i honestly feel like my heart fell out of my body.

“the reason i am being so open about this on such a public level is because i just wanted to send out a reminder that the most important thing in life is family.

“spend as much time with the people u love while were lucky enough to have them on earth because one day god will want them back.” [sic]

Nicola went on to describe why her grandmother meant so much to her.

She wrote: ‘gina was a second mother to me, my love for her was never ending n overflowing. she was kind, elegant, gentle but beyond strong, and i can’t even put into words how beautiful she was.

‘her hair has been snow white since the day i was born and i always knew she was pure magic. she was truly my earth angel. i have dreaded this day for as long as i can remember n still can’t comprehend this is my new reality.

‘i don’t know why this happened the night before i turned 25 n maybe i’ll never know but all i know is that i am the luckiest girl in the whole world to have been able to know the most incredible woman for 25 years.

‘i feel lost n broken but i know she is with me forever, she always has been.’ [sic]

There had been speculation in August that Brooklyn and Nicola had already tied the knot in a secret wedding after he was pictured with what seemed like a wedding band on his finger.

He then fuelled the rumours by calling Nicola “my wife” in the comments of a loved-up pic of the pair which she had captioned: “My forever.”

The pair had announced their engagement in July, eight months after they began dating.
