Bond star Naomie Harris left ‘petrified’ after stalker targeted her at home

Bond star Naomie Harris was left “petrified” after a man convicted of stalking her showed up at her home, a court heard.
Ii Ovisyonairo Ii, 37, from Canterbury, Kent, has admitted two stalking charges against the actress and her mum and will be sentenced on Friday.
During a hearing at Wood Green Crown Court yesterday, the court heard the actress, who played Miss Moneypenny in three James Bond movies, was left too scared to go out and struggled to sleep
Prosecutor Philip McGhee told the court Harris, 44, was “absolutely petrified” and “felt the blood rush from her” as she suffered a panic attack when Ii turned up outside her north London home on February 29.
Ii’s stalking began last year after he booked Reiki sessions with her mother and asked to be introduced to her daughter, the court heard.
During yesterday’s hearing, the court heard Ii found Harris’ home address and sent her a series of letters containing “highly sexualised” references in February.
The court heard one of the letters stated he planned to “pursue her until she acknowledged they should be together” and he also vowed to travel to London to meet her.
McGhee told the court Ii arrived at Harris’ home on February 29 and the movie star was on the phone to a friend at the time.
He said: “Her friend described Harris dropping her voice, whispering in a terrified tone that the man who had been stalking her was at her front door.”
The court heard Harris changed the locks to her home and fitted a new security alarm, but has still feels unsafe.
McGhee said: “She doesn’t feel safe when she goes out and struggles to sleep.
“She is going to be looking over her shoulder until she knows the defendant can’t hurt her.
“She is genuinely petrified about what he might do to her and doesn’t feel safe even when she comes home.”

According to the Evening Standard, after his arrest, police discovered in his possession a dossier on Harris and letters from other famous women turning him down after he’d contacted them.
Judge Noel Lucas QC told the court: “There seems to be clear evidence that Mr Ii has had a fixation on other women, glamorous women, women in the media, in the past. He frightens me.”
