Billie Eilish has joined the ranks of other artists who are encouraging their fans and followers to vote in the upcoming election. Billie took to her Instagram this week to touch on the importance of the election as well as her thoughts toward the potential ramifications of it. The performing artist wished out loud that she didn’t have to make the video, but she felt compelled to do so.
Due to the importance of the upcoming election, Billie argued for people to get out and vote. As most know, the star has supported the Democratic party this year, in fact, she even performed at the 2020 Democratic National Convention.
According to Eilish, over the last couple of years, she learned to care more about politics and the importance of expressing one’s convictions in the political arena. The star said it would be her first time voting, and she urged other 18-year-olds like herself to do the same thing.

As it was noted above, Billie isn’t the only celebrity to urge her fans to vote. Earlier this year, Lil’ Dicky did the same thing, however, the rapper did it in an entirely different way.
The rapper – who recently premiered the first season of his successful television show, Dave – posted a picture of himself without any clothes and told fans he would reveal himself entirely if they went out to the polls.
Other stars such as Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have also urged people to vote, although, reports claim the royal family isn’t happy about it due to the way it makes the British aristocracy look.
On the 3rd of October, Porsha Williams also did the same thing for her fans and followers. The reality star said she had been sitting back and watching the racial injustice for a long time, and it was time for people to vote the president out of office.
The reality star said she saw the president “refuse to condemn white supremacy” and other injustices. “We cannot afford to not vote,” Porsha wrote at the beginning of her caption.
