Kelis is far from happy with Beyonce for allegedly sampling a track from her 1999 debut album, Kaleidoscope, without getting permission.
The R&B star, 42, uploaded a heated Instagram rant on Thursday shortly after Queen Bey released her latest album and was clearly less than impressed with the discovery that a short section from Get Along With You appeared to feature on the former Destiny’s Child singer’s track called Energy.
The Milkshake singer made the discovery thanks to a fan account of hers and she originally commented on the post saying she was angered not to have received advanced notice of the news.
But she couldn’t let it end there and decided to upload a clear message in two Instagram videos after a stage performance.
In the first clip, Kelis said how she’d just made the discovery and as an artist is “sensitive about my s***” calling it “common decency” to reach out if you’re going to use someone else’s work.

After slamming Beyonce’s actions as “disrespectful” she hit out at the singer’s fans for labelling her jealous of the star, telling them to “grow up”.
In the second post, she continued to go in hard, saying in the caption there are “bullies and secrets and gangsters in this industry that smile and get away with it,” before saying: ” I’m coming for what’s mine and I want reparations.”
She once again called out Beyonce in the clip while also taking aim at Pharrell Williams.
She slammed the Happy singer’s “hypocrisy” for an interview talking about artist rights when he had writing credits on her work without writing any lyrics.
On Beyonce, she continued: “We’ve got Beyonce, who, like I said out of human decency as an artist and a female, all of this stuff she sings about, all of this empowerment, I don’t talk about it I am about it, okay?
“So the reality is, all of this female empowerment stuff, it only counts if you really do it. If you’re really living it and walking the walk. Don’t just talk the talk, it’s real cute and fun to sing all these girls songs. Come on now, let’s be real!”

She then continued to blast Pharrell and his song Happy as the explosive rant went on.
She jibed: “I’d be happy too if I was stealing all kind of folks publishing and rights to songs and all kinds of stuff,” before laughing off the comment and saying she actually wouldn’t be happy as it’s “evil”.
She concluded by fuming: “The point is, there’s a lot of hypocrisy and a lot of people don’t talk about it and bring it up and it just so happens that I was thrown on this, it’s not as if I was looking for it.”
Kelis said she had been told of her “collaboration” with Beyonce and that’s why she’s so upset.
“No it’s not a collaboration,” she vented. “The definition of collaboration is that we are working together. There’s no working together if you are not even checking to see if everything’s cool.
“That’s the problem, okay? I would never do that to another artist. For real, I never have and never will!”
