Barefoot and bleary-eyed stars leave Soap Awards in style after partying into the night
The likes of Coronation Street’s Goergia Taylor and EastEnders’ Jessie Wallace were seen leaving the boozy Soap Awards in good spirits, as they continued to celebrate with their co-stars long after the ceremony had gone out live on ITV

The stars of the small screen were out in force on Saturday night for the annual British Soap Awards bash.
Many of the night’s winners – and losers – carried on the party long into the night as some of the nation’s best loved actors were seen leaving the raucous ‘do at Hackney Town Hall.
Stars from Coronation Street, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and EastEnders were papped making their exits – many still clutching bottles of beer and half-drunk wine glasses as they poured out into the streets of London.
ITV’s Emmerdale had been the big winner on the night – nabbing the coveted Best Soap and a string of other accolades – but that didn’t stop their rivals from joining in the celebrations.
Corrie’s Georgia Taylor looked in good spirits as she was papped shrieking with laughter as she shared a joke with her co-stars.

The Toyah Battersby actress kept hold of her wine glass as she was seen taking a sip as she caught up with her colleagues.
EastEnders’ Jessie Wallace, who plays Kat Slater on the BBC One soap, also looked to be enjoying the festivities.
The actress appeared to have opted for comfort over style by the end of the night as she kicked off her heels and braved the dirty streets barefoot.
Despite her shoe emergency, Jessie seemed on great form and was spotted chatting away to a parking valet attendant outside the venue.

Jessie made her exit with pal Lauren Socha, best known for starring as Kelly Bailey in E4’s Misfits.
Like her pal, Lauren also swapped her heels for something more comfortable as she headed down the London steps in a pair of pink sliders.
The two actresses were seeing linking arms and cracking jokes as they made their exit together.

Another star ditching their heels after the party was over was Hollyoaks favourite Chelsee Healey.
The Goldie McQueen star was spotted walking the streets barefoot after ditching her teetering stilettos.
Earlier in the night, Chelsee had been seen parading on the red carpet in her impressive shoes with her co-star Jennifer Metcalfe, who plays Mercedes McQueen.
There was disappointment for Chelsee on the night after she lost the Best Comedy Performance gong to EastEnders’ Tameka Empson, who plays Kim Fox.
Hollyoaks’ Chelsee Healey also ditched her high heels after a long night at the bash

Another star who sadly missed out on the night but did not let that stop them getting in the party mood was Corrie’s Richard Hawley.
The actor, who played Johnny Connor in the soap, was seen leaving the bash clutching two bottles and holding a cigarette in his hand.
Richard, who left the soap in dramatic circumstances last October, had been up for scene of the year for his exit.
Johnny’s death sadly lost out to Scene of the Year for Hollyoaks Misbah Didn’t Consent storyline on the night.

Richard’s Corrie star Daniel Brocklebank was also seen supping on a beer outside as he scrolled through his phone.
EastEnders’ Scott Maslen also looked in good spirits as he gave cameras a thumbs up from inside his taxi ride home.
While soap legend Stephane Beacham continued to look as glamorous as ever as she made her getaway at the end of the night.

The former Dynasty and Bad Girls actress gave a smile for the cameras from the back seat of her cab as she headed off with a pal. Coronation Street stars Colson Smith and Julia Goulding, who play Craig Tinker and Shona Platt on the ITV soap, were seen leaving the ‘do together. Earlier in the night, Julia seized the red carpet as a chance to announce her latest pregnancy.

The former TOWIE star was still looking fresh-faced as she made her exit after partying with the country’s best-loved soap stars.
EastEnders legend Anita Dobson was one of those celebrating with the winners on the night.

“It’s been 30 odd years since I was cast, I love you all so much. I lost my daddy a week ago, this is for my daddy. I’m not very good at public speaking but thank you all.”
