Armie Hammer Pays Tribute To His Grandmother On Social Media Following Her Death

This week, Page Six reported that Armie Hammer took to his Instagram to mourn the loss of his grandmother. The star announced the death of his late grandma on Instagram this Monday with a picture of her as a much younger woman.

Armie wrote in the caption that there were “no words to describe the loss,” before going on to say that he loved his grandma. Reportedly, this year has been a tough one for the 34-year-old actor, including the separation with his estranged wife, Elizabeth Chambers.

After ten years of being together, the 38-year-old woman and the 34-year-old actor revealed they had split up. They currently have two children including a 5-year-old named Harper and a 3-year-old named Ford.

Chambers was the first to file the court documents just a couple of days after they both took to their IG to release a joint statement. She cited irreconcilable differences as the cause of their marriage’s dissolution.

Ever since he and Elizabeth announced their split, Hammer has been seen around Rumer Willis, the daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, as well as Jessica Ciencin Henriquez. Henriquez was married to Lucas, but their romance ended after she accused him of cheating during the quarantine.

Earlier this year, Armie reflected on his dissolved marriage with Elizabeth, saying how it was one of the worst things that had happened to him in years. According to Hammer, he took it very harshly at first, and to make matters worse, it was in the middle of quarantine and they were stuck together in the Cayman Islands.

The actor says he didn’t have the appropriate skill-set to handle his marriage’s breakdown, and while it unfortunately never worked out between them, Armie says that he learned a lot from it and will be able to handle such a situation a lot better next time.

Regarding their kids, Armie says he and Elizabeth are devoted to raising their children and will do so accordingly. Armie says he started seeing a therapist as well, which helped him deal with the split.
