Amanda Holden has caused controversy once again after wearing perhaps her most daring dress on Britain’s Got Talent yet.
The judge, 49, sparked 235 complaints to OfCom for the daring blue number, which was cut so low many BGT viewers were convinced they’d actually seen her nipples on TV.
She took to Instagram to defend herself against the controversy, saying: “Mmmm really?! Who has nipples this close to their cleavage ?!”
“FYI. A boned corset dented the girls all night,” she added, alongside some egg emojis.
Angry BGT viewers had previously complained to the Broadcasting watchdog about another of her dresses.
In 2017 she blew us all away Julian Macdonald creation featured a wide plunging neckline that fell down to her navel.
A whopping 663 complaints were made to Ofcom about the dress, which she wore for the final that year.
The tight-fitting gown was made of a dark brown/black mesh-like material, decorated with glittering detail.
She looked beautiful, but clearly the dress wasn’t to everyone’s taste.
Amanda simply laughed it off though.
She told The Sun : “That dress was hysterical – it was Julien Macdonald.
“I had bits of fish wire underneath my breasts trying to hold that together. But, look, I’m from a small-chest family, plus you know I’m 48 years old. It’s all quite laughable, but all everyone seems to talk about.”
“It’s been called another national crisis – but, oh no, I will not be covered up,” she laughed over reports that she’d sacked the stylist who put her in the dress.
Amanda has wowed in some incredible dresses ever since the show began in 2007, and it looks like that will never change.
For the first live semi-final this year, Amanda wore a stunning leggy dress with mesh-detailing on the top that made it almost see-through.
Strips of red and silver glitter are splashed all over the dress, that’s cut at an asymmetric angle to reveal her enviable pins.
Amanda’s dress for the third semi-final of 2019 was just as eye-popping.
The gown was half sheer and half white, with flowers and a spider-web embroidered on to conceal her modesty.
It was finished off with a scarf-come-cape that draped around her neck and down to the floor.
Amanda is a big fan of a plunging neckline – and she looks great in them.
This dress also features a slightly-sheer skirt that falls right down to the floor.
Amanda is wearing a bodysuit underneath the sparkling frock.
This gown also features a daring neckline and cut-out details.
It’s a brave outfit, but Amanda pulls it off.
That confident pose with one hand on her hip says it all.
As you can see from this picture from 2012, Amanda has always had her own style.
For one of the live shows back in the programme’s early days, Amanda wore this plunging black gown with an oversized belt around her middle to accentuate her tiny waist.
The knee-length dress showed off her legs too.
Another gown from 2011 shows off Amanda’s signature style.
The white gown features a short skirt at the front and a long train at the back.
The silver panels gave it that extra sparkle.
This Grecian-style gown from 2016 features a dramatic split at the front that revealed Amanda’s legs.
It too featured a plunging neckline.
She looked gorgeous in the glittering creation.
