Claudia Winkleman has peeled back the covers on her sex life to reveal she feels under pressure to bed her husband every two days.
The 48-year-old television presenter has been married to 48-year-old film producer Kris Thykier since 2000 and together they have three children.
Getting candid about her personal life, Claudia explained the she thinks she puts too much pressure on herself to have sex.
It seems that living in a world of social media has heightened the Strictly Come Dancing host’s anxieties as she is always seeing other couples profess their love for each other online and feels pressure to follow suit.
Opening up to The Sun at the launch of her new book, Quite, she declared: “I think we put way too much pressure on ourselves.
“I haven’t had sex with my husband for two days, let’s do it on the stairs.”
She went on to explain that her love life will likely get another boost once her eldest son, Jake, moves out of the family home to set himself up as an independent adult.
Claudia said: “I’m sure it will be great. Me and husband will learn how to make stew and we’ll read lots of books and we’ll do tickling – that’s code in case anyone is wondering.”
Claudia and Kris have been married for 20 years and they have a daughter called Matilda, aged 14, and a nine-year-old son named Arthur as well as their teenage son, Jake.
Claudia will soon be back on screens and witnessing couples up close and personal in a different style as she returns to host Strictly for the 2020 series – alongside Tess Daly.
Sex and passion is a key element of Strictly, and the alleged ‘curse’ has caused past contestants and dance professionals to fall for each other due to their sexually charged performances.
Show judge Craig Revel Horwood suspects the curse will hit harder than ever before in the new series – which kicks off this month.
