Amy Hart has hit back after cruel keyboard warriors mocked her weight loss transformation.

Earlier this week, the Love Island babe, 27, wowed her followers when she unveiled her incredible body transformation after spending seven days at a juice retreat in Portugal to “overcome [her] social anxiety”.

The blonde beauty revealed that she dropped 2kg (4.4lb) in the week-long retreat with Juice Master Jason Vale.

Despite managing to shed the pounds while she was there, Amy insisted she didn’t go on the solo holiday to drop weight, but to “overcome her social anxiety” as she embarks on a lifestyle overhaul.

The bubbly TV personality showed off her weight loss transformation by stripping down to her lingerie to flaunt a cinched in waist and a tighter tummy.

While she was showered with praise by the majority of her Instagram followers, Amy was also bombarded with a number of cruel comments which branded the telly star ‘sickly’ and ‘ill-looking’.

Responding to the backlash on her Instagram Stories, Amy wrote: “Some of the comments on my post about what a disgrace I am for sharing the day one and day seven pics…

“I went on holiday to a health retreat and have had thousands of messages with questions and encouragement, asking to follow my journey. It’s not a dramatic weight loss, it’s not like I’ve lost 2 stone in 7 days or something ridiculous like that.

“I’m not telling people to go and take weight loss shots or live on 3 cuppa-soups a day. It’s a one week reset. As you’ll see in the caption, the actual juicing aspect was very far down the list for me and the weight loss ever further down.

“My skin is glowing, I’m less bloated, I toned up through lots of fun and exercise classes with friends. I had the best time out there so wanted to share.”

The former Love Island star then went on to share a number of screenshots of nasty messages that were sent her way after she posted the weight loss snaps.

Alongside the snapshots, Amy reminded the trolls that she was much slimmer in the Love Island villa than she is now.

She penned: “Also side notes, 1) I’m still way over what I was in Love Island so I dread to think how pathetic and thin you thought I was then.

“2) The difference between B&A is more exercise, no wine and no takeaways, your body needs a break sometimes!

“Final thought, in what parallel universe would you go up to a stranger in the street and tell them they look pathetic and ill, better before or too thin?” she asked.

“Luckily for me it’s not (I don’t get it very often – I enjoy wine and takeaways too much) but it’s actually very offensive to some people.”

In another post, Amy revealed trolls had commented on tabloid stories that she had a “flabby body, an average face, yellow hair and awful teeth”.

Amy shot to fame on the 2019 summer series of Love Island where she fell head over heels for Curtis Pritchard.
