Lily James admitted she was obsessed with boys while she was growing up.

The actress, 31, opened up about some good advice about love and boys she wished she could give to her younger self on reflection.

Her love life had been turned upside down earlier this year after her split from actor Matt Smith following five years of a fairytale love story.

They had been living together in a flat in London.

It’s not known whether the exes have been hunkering down together throughout the lockdown.

Rumours recently have been flying the blonde bombshell has been dating Captain America star Chris Evans in lockdown.

Looking back, Lily confided in fans she shouldn’t have been so “obsessed by boys” growing up and wished she was kinder to herself.

She told Harper’s Bazaar magazine : “Don’t be obsessed by boys! Hang out with your girl mates. And don’t take everything so seriously – be kind to yourself!”

Now Lily admitted she still feels like a child in her 30s as she’s still “searching” for who she really is.

She said: “Lots of girlfriends said to me, ‘Oh, you feel so much relief in your thirties, you know who you are.’ I thought I was there, but then realised I’m actually not.

“I think I’ll probably always be quite a ‘searching’ person… I can’t picture getting to a point where I’ll feel like, ‘Oh, I’ve grown.’ I still feel like a child.”

As glamorous as ever, the Rebecca star posed up a storm in a black dress featuring a sexy lace-up side detailing for the magazine shoot.

Also, Lily slipped into a plunging pink satin number which she complemented with her cherry shade lipstick.

In October, the actress will return to our screens as the second Mrs de Winter in Netflix’s adaptation of Daphne Du Maurier’s classic Rebecca.
