If you need to know what’s Hot Right Now, just ask Rita Ora.
The singer, already worth more than £20million, has become a one-woman advertising machine during lockdown.
Rita, 29, has posted a string of shopping channel-style Instagram videos plugging everything from skin products to booze.
In one, she teased fans by holding a pair of grapefruits to her breasts while mixing herself a margarita – using her own-brand Prospero tequila.
Another pushes fashion from designer pals Viktor&Rolf.
But she has also posted paid promos gushing about Give Me hair masks, Foreo skincare and pink Mermaid hair wavers.
Industry analyst Mark Mulligan said brands “will pay whatever it takes” to get Rita on board.
He said: “How long is a piece of string? Kylie Jenner has been paid $1.2million for a single post, so that will give you an idea.
“Big artists get 65 per cent of revenue from touring. With the demise of the gig, they’re developing side gigs.”
DKNY boss Donna Karan once signed the singer to her My NY fragrance, saying: “If Rita can’t sell it, I don’t know who can.”
Rita herself has said: “If someone gives me money, I’m not going to say no.”
