Little Mix earn £10million after splitting from X Factor mentor Simon Cowell

Little Mix are making more notes than ever since splitting from their old X Factor mentor Simon Cowell.

Perrie Edwards, 27, Jesy Nelson, 29, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, 28, and Jade Thirlwall, 27, proved there is life after the pop guru by earning £10million last year.

Latest accounts for music and merchandise firm Eternal Dance Media Limited show the girls made £6million – up £2million from the year before.

And the latest paperwork for Eternal Magic Touring Limited shows they paid themselves a dividend of £4.6million in 2019.

Little Mix, whose hits include Shout Out To My Ex and Love Me Like You, have new album Confetti out on November 6.

And the group, formed on X Factor in 2011, start BBC1 show Little Mix: The Search tonight.

The girls, who split from Cowell, 60, in November 2018, have now come full circle as they become mentors helping aspiring stars form a band.

As we reported yesterday they have told of the lessons they wish they had been given, about being kind, not getting ahead of yourself and not being “an arse”.

Referring to their experiences as wannabes, Jade said: “The aftercare is essential – that’s the difference between wanting to get on the stage again.

“Whether they get through or not, our team call them up for a while to see how they’re doing.

“We’ll support everyone because we’ve been through a similar experience and probably could have benefited from a bit more support along the way.”
