Kim Kardashian ‘deeply disappointed’ by Kanye West’s spiral as she gives him space
The Keeping Up With The Kardshian’s star has stuck by her husband’s side throughout his health battles
Kim Kardashian is ‘deeply disappointed and sad’ by husband Kanye West’s latest battles with his mental health, sources close to the star have claimed.
Reality star turned business mogul Kim, 39, was seen having emotional ‘crisis talks’ with Kanye, 43, last month after pleading with fans to be understanding of his mood swings.
Concerns have been raised about the rapper again following a series of erratic Twitter messages, where he shared fears he was going to be murdered.
An insider told US Weekly that Kanye was on another ‘downward spiral’ which is putting Kim under immense emotional stress.
“She is deeply disappointed and sad because Kanye is struggling,” the insider claimed. “It’s a vicious cycle that Kim has had success at interrupting successfully for months at a time.”
The source said that the coronavirus pandemic has not helped Kanye, who has spoken of his struggles with bipolar disorder in the past.
“Being isolated and alone essentially in his head isn’t healthy for Kanye,” explained the source.
During lockdown Kanye was holed up at his Wyoming ranch while using Twitter to speak to fans, which included making a series of controversial statements about his famous in -laws.
He returned to the site this week to vent on a variety of topics with some messages sparking concern from users of the platform.
Kanye shared a video of himself urinating on his Grammy Award and in another post said he feared he would be murdered or have daughter North taken from him.
The hip hop star was also banned from the site for 24 hours after sharing the phone number of a Forbes magazine editor.
While fans urged Kanye to ‘get help’ sources told US Weekly that Kim doesn’t think the social media rants are the problem.
“She doesn’t care about the tweets, that is Kanye being Kanye,” the insider claimed, however, it’s “the mood swings and the manic episodes [that] are extremely difficult for Kim to help Kanye cope with.”
Kim is said to be trying to be patient and give Kanye the space he needs to be creative.
The rapper has been working on a number of projects in lockdown from solutions to homeless, his Gap range a new trainer line and a new album.
Meanwhile Kim has been focusing on her own ventures – a new perfume range with sisters Kourtney and Khloe and her Skims bodywear line.
She also shocked fans by announcing the demise of her family’s long running E! reality series Keeping Up With The Kardashians, saying after 20 series it was time to move on.
Amid the latest drama to hit her family, Kim took to social media to share some adorable pictures of her daughters North and Chicago.
The mum-of-four revealed that North, seven, was teaching Chicago, two, how to ‘make a peace sign’ in pictures.
“My girls” gushed proud mum Kim as she posted the snaps on her Instagram page.
Chicago appeared to copy her big sis before North held her in her arms.
