Tory Lanez’s Bodyguard Opens Up About The Megan Thee Stallion Shooting

A report from Page Six said today that a former bodyguard of Tory Lanez came out to address the Megan Thee Stallion shooting controversy that happened in July. During a chat with Landon Buford, Zyir Brown claimed he had never seen Lanez, 28, become violent with a woman before.

Brown explained how he had never seen Tory react in such a way toward women, which goes in contrast to the way in which he has been portrayed in the media. He claimed, “I’ve never seen him do that.”

Brown went on to say that he has never seen Tory scream at a female before either. Even when he did get into altercations with some of his partners, Brown explained, it never turned into a shouting match or even an argument, for that matter. Brown claims he has never seen Tory argue.

Reportedly, Brown wasn’t there for the incident in question, but he claims it was never in Tory’s nature to get physical with a female, or even with another person.

“This is from my experience,” Brown explained, before going on to say that he doesn’t know what happened between him and Megan Thee Stallion. He wasn’t there.

Earlier in the month, it was reported that Tory Lanez admitted to shooting the “WAP” rapper because he had too many drinks. The authorities pulled Lanez over in his SUV on gun possession charges.

As it was previously reported, Tory Lanez‘s reputation in the rap world, and in the music industry, in general, was called into question after it was revealed that he had allegedly shot Megan Thee Stallion in the foot after a party one evening earlier in the summer.

Despite the controversy and the allegations against him, the police and the LA prosecutors still haven’t pressed charges against the “Just Be Friends” rapper, with the exception of gun possession charges.

Amid the reports, some fans also called on the United States government to deport Tory, who hails from Toronto, Canada. A few weeks after the media reports began to subside, Megan confirmed it was Tory who shot her. She said she was trying to protect him initially.
