Pixie Geldof has shared her first hand encounter with Her Majesty The Queen – after stumbling around in front of the top royal.

The 29-year-old model was a guest at the wedding of Princess Eugenie to wine merchant Jack Brooksbank on 12 October 2018.

The wedding was held at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, with a reception hosted by the Queen at Windsor Castle following the ceremony.

Pixie has peeled back the curtain from the big day – and says HM The Queen was a hoot, was proudly showing guests around her castle, and expressing her gratitude for being able to host her granddaughter’s reception.

Pixie shared the details while chatting to Henry Holland on his podcast, What Were You Thinking?

The star said of her encounter with The Queen: “I didn’t meet her but she was walking around saying stuff like, ‘Well, it’s great that I have a house big enough to hold all these guests’.

“She’s full LOL. She was being funny. She was like, ‘Welcome to my home’.”

Pixie went on to reveal she had an embarrassing moment with the Queen – falling on her face right in front of our Head of State.

She said: “I fell over at one point. Stacked it, but not on to the floor.”

The model added: “And not drunk – hadn’t drunk.”

The bombshell was dropped at Eugenie's wedding

The podcast episode also sees Pixie “take us through her take on event dressing and how she decided what to wear to a Royal wedding (a last minute borrowed Celine number, of course!)”

While she also discusses growing up in the public eye.
