Caitlyn Jenner has taken a look back through the archives of Keeping Up With The Kardashians and has reflected on some of the moments that made the reality show.

The Kardashian family announced the end of the intimate look inside their lives with the show ending in 2021 and Caitlyn has recalled what legacy the show will leave.

The 70-year-old I Am Cait star quit the show in 2017 after appearing in over 400 episodes and she has said how she misses her daughters being around as they have grown and forged their own lives.

Speaking in YouTube video, Caitlyn started by giving an outline of her involvement and where the family was when the cameras first started to roll.

She said: “I think I was involved with 420 [episodes], something like that, starting with the kids.

“Kendall and Kylie [Jenner] were like eight and 10 or somewhere right around there when we started. They were so young.

“The other girls, they had a whole world ahead of them, and they were just kind of getting started.”

An emotional Caitlyn admitted that looking at what KUWTK has done for the family had made her feel nostalgic as well as missing having her family around all the time still.

Speaking about her offspring, Caitlyn said in the video: “I have to admit, all my kids have done just an amazing job, but as a parent, you spend all your time – 23 years of my life – carpooling people around.

“Every day, you’re with them, and then you teach them to be independent, smart, good citizens and go out there into the world. And then, damn it, they do that.”

Caitlyn reflected on the down side of that, saying: “So you don’t see them as much as you used to, and every parent goes through this.

“You don’t see them as much as you used to, and you love your kids, so it’s always kind of tough on a parent.

“And so, I don’t know, I got a little sentimental and started watching some of these old clips of my old life.

“And sometimes I think now it’s kind of nice that it’s so quiet around here.”

Fortunately, to help her through the watch back of the old clips, Caitlyn got “emotional support” from her dogs, especially as she looked at clip from before her transition.

She and Kris Jenner finalised their divorce in December 2014, after 23 years of marriage, and the clip she watched saw when Kris tried to force her to have a new hairstyle.

With Khloe Kardashian standing up for Cait, she said: “At least Khloé’s on my side. I like that.”

In a comment that seems more insightful with knowledge of how her life panned out, Khloe said that Caitlyn was “tired” of “doing things everyone else’s way.”

She replied, “Boy, that’s for sure.”

After watching another clip in which Rob Kardashian accidentally took Viagra, which Kris had slipped into the coffee intended for her other half, Caitlyn said that she missed the laughs a family could have.

She said: “One thing my entire family did have was a good sense of humour about things.

“I kind of miss that because everybody’s not around all the time and everybody’s spread out and their lives have moved on and as life should be.”

Kim Kardashian broke the news that KUWTK would end in 2021 on Instagram, posting a statement about the future of the show.

She wrote: “We are beyond grateful to all of you who’ve watched us for all of these years – through the good times, the bad times, the happiness, the tears, and the many relationships and children.

“We’ll forever cherish the wonderful memories and countless people we’ve met along the way.”
