Pregnant Kate Ferdinand has confirmed she’s having a baby boy.
The reality TV star is expecting her first child with her husband Rio Ferdinand and she has shared pictures from their gender reveal party.
In the pictures, Kate and Rio are seen celebrating the news with friends and family, and Kate confirmed the baby’s gender in the caption.
She wrote: “It’s a boy me and Tia are outnumbered.”
Kate is step mum to Rio kids from his first marriage, two boys, Tate 12, and Lorenz, 14, and a girl, Tia, nine.
The new baby is the couple’s first child together.
Rio’s elder kids are from his marriage to wife Rebecca Ellison, who died in 2015 after a battle with breast cancer.
Kate has taken on the role of step-mum since her marriage to the former footballer last year, and confirmed her pregnancy in June.
The couple haven’t shared Kate’s due date, but the baby is likely to arrive later in the year.
They also kept the baby’s gender a secret until now, only telling the kids at their party – and the trio were seen jumping for joy when they found out.
The couple – who married in Turkey in 2019 – first confirmed the baby news in a sweet video which showed them telling the kids around the dinner table.
All three looked thrilled as they celebrated the happy news.
Since announcing her pregnancy, Kate has continued her daily work our regime, admitting she feels more tired but is being careful not to overdo it.
She admitted she was left feeling guilty during the early weeks of her pregnancy as she was too shattered to be around for Rio and the kids.
In an emotional post on Instagram, she shared: “‘I’ve been pretty quiet on here recently. Honestly, I’ve just been so exhausted I don’t know wether I’m coming or going
“How I’ve been feeling has been changing daily so I’ve found it hard to share anything because I don’t really know how I feel myself….
“Any other pregnant women feeling the same? Or am I losing my mind??…
“It’s taken me some time to really get used to the fact that I’m growing a little human in me and to slow down.
“I’m always running around a hundred miles an hour, trying to do everything and taking it easy is just not in my makeup, it’s taken some adjustments.
“In regards to training I trained for the first 8 weeks and then became absolutely exhausted, I really struggled with everything, I just felt sick tired and all over the place constantly… it was hard for my mind but I really had to listen to my body; rest & take it easy.
“When I say take it easy, I took it very easy there was lots of naps and not a lot of anything else
“After the 12 week mark I have started to feel gradually better and felt I could get back into doing more bits that I would normally do and back into training slowly, I’ve been doing Pilates & some weight training – my mind feels so much better for it, for me the gym is like therapy it really does help me stay calm and less anxious.
“Saying all of this, there are still days I feel absolutely wiped out, have terrible migraines & I do just go back to bed.
