Pregnant Ashley James rushed to hospital as she’s plagued by mystery pains

The former Made In Chelsea star, who is expecting her first child with boyfriend Tom Andrews, praised her man for waiting outside the ward for 10 hours

Pregnant Ashely James was rushed to hospital after suffering from a terrible mystery pain.

The former Made In Chelsea star, who is five months pregnant with her first child, left fans concerned when she shared a selfie from hospital on Saturday night.

Ashley posed up wearing face masks alongside her boyfriend Tom Andrews, who she praised for waiting outside the ward for 10 long hours while she was seen by doctors.

The 33-year-old told her fans: “Eventful night to mark 23 weeks. Suffered the worst pain down my left side.

“A call to 111 resulted in an ambulance and now I’m in the maternity ward of mu hospital. Lucky baby is ok and I’ve heard his little heart.

“Tommy’s not allowed in due to Covid but has waited outside all evening. I’m doing much better but just awaiting tests results. Very very grateful to the NHS, especially my amazing ambulance duo.”

She later updated fans after returning home.

The DJ wrote: “And I’m out of hospital. Thank you for all for the love, everything is well. I’m ok and most importantly baby’s ok, I’ve just got to rest now. The NHS were just amazing.

“Also shout out to this guy who waited 10 hours outside of the hospital despite me telling him to go home and sleep.”

Ashley was sent home in the early hours of Sunday with some strong painkillers.

She cosied up on the sofa with her pets while thanking fans for their well-wishes.

Ashley has been keeping fans up to date throughout her pregnancy and has been praised for her honesty on social media.

She recently embraced her stretch marks, sharing a stunning picture of herself lying back on her bed in her underwear.

Ashley held onto her bump and held up her baby scan with the stretch marks on the top of her leg visible to the camera.

She wrote: “What if we stopped seeing stretch marks as bad, and started seeing them as a gift from mother nature, like a tattoo or intricate stitching to document the tapestry of our lives?

“I mentioned this briefly in a previous post, but as I hit the 21 week mark, I wanted to talk about stretch marks. I’ve had stretch marks around my boob since I was 15, and around my bum from, well I don’t quite know what age. Now as my baby develops, I’m noticing them appear more across my bum and thighs.

“It’s interesting that there’s so many pregnancy products aimed at helping you get rid of your stretch marks. Pregnancy books telling you how to do everything to avoid them, inferring that we should dislike these appearing stretches in our skin.

“I’m not going to sit here and tell you that you should LOVE your stretch marks, but you could learn not to hate them either. Whilst I am using a body butter aimed at preventing them and reducing the redness, I’ve also shifted my perspective around them and quite enjoy noticing them when they do appear.

“I don’t think they’re ugly or bad. I like to think that it’s our body commemorating a chapter in the stories of our lives, like the whorls that appear on the tree trunks. We might all have stretch marks in varying amounts, but we nearly all have them, no matter what our body type. But each one tells a story: We might have grown quickly as teens, survived lumps, or be growing new life inside us… They all sound like wonderful stories to me.
