The Britain’s Got Talent judging panel got together for a socially-distanced selfie after Saturday’s first show.

All four stars, including Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, David Walliams and Ashley Banjo enjoyed a successful first night back for the new series.

Taking to Instagram, 49-year-old Amanda posted a behind-the-scenes snap with her co-stars, minus head judge Simon Cowell who has been suffering with a back injury.

The celebrities all looked chuffed after putting on an epic show for the viewers at home.

“Hope you enjoyed @bgt tonight! I certainly did! Welcome back @ashleybanjoram! #BGT#BritainsGotTalent,” the Heart Breakfast presenter penned beside their gorgeous group photo.

Fans definitely agreed, as many flocked to the comments section to share their thoughts on Saturday’s show.

One person wrote: “What a show. The comedian was the right choice to put through and I hope the father and son magicians go through on the public vote. By the way….you looked stunning x”

A second added: “Brill, and you was beautiful as always x”

“Looking great all of you. ❤” another sweetly penned.

️The celebrity judges were all glammed up, with the girls wearing sparkly dresses and the boys looking smart.

Diversity’s Ashley Banjo looked ultra cool in a beanie hat and gilet, while David wore a suit.

Viewers noticed Simon Cowell was MIA from the show’s judging panel on Saturday.

However they soon remembered the music mogul had been in a serious bike crash just last month, and was hospitalised.

“We hope you have a speedy recovery & we are praying for you. @SimonCowell,” a fan tweeted.

As another commented: “Watching @BGT So nice to see @antanddec on TV again.

“Weird there’s no audience there but nice that audience can watch virtually through video call showing on big screen.

“Wishing @SimonCowell a speedy recovery, I’m sure he’s watching from home too #BGT x”

However the show proved to be a hit amongst eager viewers who were watching from home on Saturday night.

The four judges pulled together to make sure the show still went on.

Speaking about her co-star on Lorraine yesterday, Amanda revealed Simon is thankfully getting better.

She told the host: “He is doing really well!

“One of the producers actually told me she’d had a conversation with him…he’s sounding really happy and healthy.

“We just want him to take the time to recover. You know what he’s like, he’s a workaholic!”
