Rebecca Adlington is pregnant with her second child.
The Olympic swimmer is expecting a baby with boyfriend Andrew Parsons, five years after welcoming her first child with ex-husband Harry Needs.
She has been living with both of them during lockdown.
Sharing a sweet snap of herself posing up with Andy and her daughter on Instagram, she wrote: “Andy and I are excited to announce that we’re expecting.
“Summer can’t wait, she asks everyday to check my belly to see if it’s growing. Going to be a long wait until the end of feb!”
The cute picture sees Rebecca cradling her blossoming bump in a flowing floral dress while she and her beau both hold on to a baby scan.
Summer, five, is wearing a T-shirt that reads “Promoted to Big Sister”.
A second picture shows Summer proudly pointing to the scan and beaming a huge smile as she poses up on her own.
Becky was showered with congratulations from her fans, famous pals and fellow sportswomen and men.
“Awww so exciting! Congratulation,” Jessica Ennis-Hill wrote.
While Sam Quek penned: “Huge congrats”
During lockdown, Rebecca invited her ex-husband Harry back to the family home so he could be with his daughter.
Harry, 28, brought along his friend and fellow swimmer Michael Gunning, and Becky’s partner Andrew also joined them from Manchester.
Becky, 31, and her ex split in 2016 after 18 months of marriage but remained on good terms.
Harry came out as bisexual during the lockdown.
During a live Q&A session with fans, Harry addressed his sexuality.
He admitted that he’d been “avoiding” the question “every day of his life so far”, but was finally ready to talk about it.
And he said that being bisexual had nothing to do with the end of his marriage to Becky.
He said: “This is a question I’ve avoided everyday of my life so far, mainly because I strongly dislike labels despite not knowing a solution to avoid them.
“But if I had to answer I would people that I’ve always been bisexual #ahh.”
