Lucy Mecklenburgh and Ryan Thomas’ joy as baby Roman sleeps through night

Lucy Mecklenburgh and Ryan Thomas have taken their first trip abroad with their little tot Roman.

And the honest couple – who like to share the ups and downs of parenthood with their social media fans – revealed their happiness on Thursday, when they told that Roman slept through the night for the first time since they left home.

Proving that they were grateful for Roman allowing then a night of uninterrupted shut eye, the genetically-blessed couple rejoiced and did a goofy celebration dance – which was captured on Lucy’s Instagram stories.

As they walked from their room to breakfast at the stunning hotel venue, Lucy, 29, told the camera: “So it is the first night of the holiday that Roman slept through!”

She then grinned as she started jumping about with 36-year-old Ryan.

The chuffed first-time mum added: “So we are going to breakfast feeling fresh, happy – honestly it makes such a difference I am sure any mummies and daddies out there can relate!”

Lucy gave birth to Roman in March.

And with her new parenting duties, she has reportedly not been able to find the time to take part in the 10th anniversary reunion.

A source told The Sun : “Lucy loves the show and has a real soft spot for it but unfortunately she’s too busy to fit in filming for the reunion.

“She has so much going on at the moment.”

Lucy appeared in TOWIE for three years, during which she was involved in a love triangle with Mark Wright and Mario Falcone.

She was proposed to by the latter on the show, but they broke off the engagement in 2013 – the same year she left the programme.

The reality star went on to take part in Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls in 2017, where she met soap star Ryan.

The couple became engaged in June 2019 after Ryan popped the question to Lucy at the Villa TreVille hotel in Positano.
