Gordon Ramsay recently put one of his luxury Cornwall homes up for sale at £2.75 million.

But due to the current recession, the TV chef has decided to rent the property out before it sells.

The kitchen whizz, 53, has allowed the stunning pad – Trevail House, in Fowey, Cornwall – to be advertised on upmarket website Boutique Retreats and punters can spend a week in the abode from £6,000 per every seven days they want to stay.

The online page dubs the place as the “ultimate glamorous coastal retreat” and boasts that the three-storey property has “incredible facilities” and “plenty of space.”

Photos on the website show inside the enviable Grade III listed property – which has idyllic views and top-notch appliances.

The sitting room is situated alongside the kitchen and has a stunning original fireplace which has been modernised with a wood-burner.

There is also a study on the ground floor as well as a TV room filled with cosy chairs and piles of books.

The kitchen is flooded with natural light as it has a huge floor to ceiling window that looks out onto the river.

A large wooden dining table has been placed in the cooking area and, as to be expected, the kitchen is kitted out with high-end appliances.

All of the four bedrooms have flashy en-suites and decorated in tasteful tones and completed with crisp bedding.

There is also an amazing outdoor deck that hosts a barbecue and a number of sunloungers – making it the perfect place to host a low-key dinner in the warmer months.

Gordon’s presence in Cornwall sparked outrage from many residents amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Controversy surrounded the TV chef’s move to one of his extra properties with his family during the tight grip on the UK lockdown.

Social media was awash with complaints, despite the star not breaking any of the coronavirus guidelines in going to reside at one of his other homes.

Residents were riled up over his stay and continued to air their complaints about his movements in the local area.
