James Bourne lifts lid on time he partied until 4am with Robert Pattinson

The Chateau Marmont is where Hollywood hellraisers go wild… then hope secrets are left where they were made.

But former Busted singer James Bourne has spilled the beans on “a very cool hang” with superstar Robert Pattinson at the swanky hotspot.

He’s even turned it into a song, called Batman’s House, as he ended up partying until 4am with R-Patz, due to play Batman in 2021, at his swanky pad.

James tells me: “We were at the Chateau and my friend said to one of Robert’s friends, ‘We wanna hang out with you… Robert might know this guy, he’s English and he’s in a band’.

“I wasn’t going to wait to see if Robert Pattinson was a Busted fan or not, so I hid in the toilets for 15 minutes. When I came back, my friend was talking to him.”

James, 36, adds: “He was really nice. He said that when he was at school, people used to tell him he looked like Charlie from Busted.

“I couldn’t believe how cool he was. We ended up back at his house and he let me play on his guitars. At 4am, I thought we should probably leave, so I called an Uber.

“I was thinking how I was a huge Batman fan and he’s the new Batman.

“We talked about it. I had a flashback to when I was a kid running around dressed as Batman. When I got home, I wrote the song in one go.”

The track will follow James’ debut solo single, Everyone Is My Friend. Both songs feature on his album, Safe Journey Home, released in October.

Busted superfan R-Patz, 34, will be pleased to hear James hasn’t ruled out a reunion with his old bandmates Matt Willis and Charlie Simpson.

They split in 2005, before forming a supergroup with McFly. James adds: “We’re all on very good terms.
