This years I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! is set to be majorly different to all the previous series.
The reality show is usually filmed in the Australian jungle but has been forced to relocate to Gwrych castle in Wales due to the coronavirus pandemic for 2020.
And with the much-loved series no longer being set in the bush Down Under it has led to a number of the series staples being shaken up as producers figure out how to switch up the show to fit in with the castle setting.
Fans of the show will know that Kiosk Kev – previously Kiosk Keith – is a jungle ranger character that looks after the Outback Shack where celebs can trade Dingo Dollars for treats – if they complete daily quests.
But as the leafy set is switched for a cold stone castle where does this leave Aussie Kev?
A number of rumours are swirling as to if a famous face – or famous food brand – will take on the role.
Betting giant Betway have shared their insight into who could be replacing Kev and are offering odds of it being Rylan-Clark Neal at 7/2.
Other faces in the mix include Coronation Street character Dev Alahan – Portrayed by Jimmi Harkishin – who owns the soaps corner shop at 5/2.
Other Corrie characters the gambling company think it could be involved in the upcoming series are Roy Cropper – played by actor David Neilson – at 100/30 and Rita Sullivan – characterized by Barbara Knox – at 11/14.
EastEnders’ Kathy Beale has been awarded odds of 8/1 that she will host the show’s shop.
Or maybe a British food favourite could be dropped into the castle for when the stars want a tasty snack after wining tokens?
Leading the way of inanimate objects is the idea that the kiosk could be replaced by a self-service checkout at 8/13.
Behind it is a Greggs bakery at 7/4 and Little Chef has been awarded odds of 20/1.
Betway’s Chad Yeomans said on the odds: “Kiosk Keith is a staple of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! but with the nations favourite show staying at home this year, it begs the question will Keith be replaced?
We’ve all seen the rise of the convenient self-checkout machine and we’ve priced it as odds on favourite at 8/13 to replace Keith, if he doesn’t return for series twenty. We’ve also got Coronation Street’s own Rita Sullivan, Supermarket Sweep’s Rylan Clark-Neal and motorway classic Little Chef priced at 11/4, 7/2 and 20/1 respectively.”
