Selling Sunset’s Chrishell’s emotional goodbye to step-daughter amid shock split

Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause has recounted her emotional goodbye to her teenage step-daughter after she was savagely dumped by husband Justin Hartley.

The 39-year-old reality star was married to 43-year-old This Is Us star Justin in 2017 – but was “blindsided” when he demanded a divorce in November last year.

With scenes of the third season of Netflix hit Selling Sunset filmed over the last few months of 2019, the cameras captured the heartbreak Chrishell endured.

This included the fact she was forced to say goodbye to 16-year-old Isabella who Justin shares from his past marriage to actress Lindsay Korman.

During a tearful chat with Selling Sunset co-star Amanza Smith, Chrishell said of Isabella: “I love her so much and I had to write a letter to her.”

During the same chat, she also revealed how Justin allegedly informed her he wanted a divorce via text and how her initial reaction was one of total disbelief.

She said: “He text me that we were filed. Forty-five minutes later, the world knew.

“I talked to him right after because I thought that must be a joke. But that was kind of the end of the communication.”

She continued: “When I found out, I was minutes before leaving the house for work so I immediately just grabbed a few things and I just got out of there as fast as I could.

“I don’t think I really knew where I was going or what I was going to do, but I just had to leave.”

Chrishell added: “I’m just kind of in shock with it all.”

Ex-husband Justin, however, is said to be enraged by the candid scenes shown on the Netflix reality show.

A source close to the star told Us Weekly: “He’s irritated that she’s airing their private information publicly and knows there is more to the story than is being told.”
