Tara Palmer-Tomkinson ‘s sister has claimed the late star’s ghost has visited her twice since her death in 2017.
The former I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! star was diagnosed with a pituitary tumour and an autoimmune condition in 2016.
After battling the disease for more than a year, the telly star later died in February 2017 from a perforated ulcer at the age of 45.
Now, her elder sister Santa Montefiore has told how she has seen her sibling twice since her death and Tara let her know that she’s “happy where she is”.
The 50-year-old novelist constantly feels her late sister’s presence around her during life milestones.
Santa, who is a best-selling writer, detailed Tara’s ghostly visits in her latest novel Here and Now.
Opening up to the Lady magazine about her experiences, Santa revealed she felt an overwhelming sense of peace after meeting her sister once again.
She explained: “I have actually seen Tara twice since her death and she’s fine.
“She’s very happy where she is. She’s doing fine. I have also felt her presence at times.”
Mum of two Santa also admitted that she was able to tap into the other realm thanks to her training to become a medium.
“I have dabbled in it. I’ve done courses at the College of Psychic Studies in London – and I grew up seeing spirits a lot as a child.”
Reality star Tara endured a troubled life as she battled a difficult cocaine addiction which famously led to her septum collapsing due to excessive drug use.
Following her tough battle with addiction, she finally sought help in 1999 at an Arizona rehab centre and was eventually cured of her bad habits.
At the time of her death in 2017, Santa shared a statement on Twitter confirming that her little sister Tara had passed away peacefully in her sleep after losing the fight to the aggressive tumour in her body.
Santa later admitted that it had been incredibly difficult to accept that she hadn’t been there when her sister passed away.
In acknowledgements of her latest novel, Here And Now, Santa pays tribute to her Tara ‘for teaching me about loss and love; I still miss her.’
She continued: “Tara taught me an enormous amount and I’m grateful for that. I miss her every day.
