Beyonce’s Drunk In Love producer Detail charged with 15 counts of sexual assault
Grammy Award-winning producer Detail – real name Noel Christopher Fisher – has been charged with 15 counts of sexual assault and five counts of felony assault
Beyonce’s music producer Detail, who worked on her hit track Drunk In Love, has been charged with 15 counts of sexual assault.
The Grammy Award-winner – real name Noel Christopher Fisher – is also facing five counts of felony assault following his arrest in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
Fisher, 41, has been held on nearly $6.3 million dollar (£4.8 million) bail and is set to be arraigned on Friday.
The charges stem from alleged incidents said to have taken place between 2010 and 2018. The women he’s accused of assaulting were aged between 18 and 31 at the time of the alleged assaults.
Many of the alleged incidents are said to have taken place at Detail’s home, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
In a statement released after Detail’s arrest, his lawyer Irwin Mark Bledstein said: “Mr. Fisher was just arrested some hours ago and I have not had an opportunity to speak to him or look at the charges.
“I am quite certain he will enter a not guilty plea and contest to the fullest all of these allegations.”
If convicted on all the charges, Detail faces a maximum sentence of 225 years to life in prison.
The producer hails from Detroit, Michigan and shot fame as a producer while working with R&B star Ray J in the mid-2000s, earning his first hit with 2007 single Sexy Can I.
His other songs include Lil Wayne’s 2011 single How To Love and Beyonce and Jay’s Drunk In Love, which won him a Grammy.
