Andrew Le Page is planning to propose to Tasha Ghouri sooner rather than later after she made a U-turn over their baby plans.

The pair met during the most recent series of Love Island, and whilst they didn’t win the show, they found each other and have seemed stronger than ever since the show finished. Now back in UK, the pair have already moved in together – with Tasha letting Andrew stay at her London flat – but things are moving on for them even more.

He had originally planned to propose in four years’ time but he thinks it will be much sooner now after Tasha made a U-turn about having kids, and now wants to have a baby with him. She said meeting the right person in Andrew was why she changed her mind.

Whilst Andrew and Tasha didn’t win the show, they found each other

He told OK!: “At the start of the process, Tasha told me she didn’t want kids. I said, ‘That’s cool, it’s not a deal breaker for me,’ and then five days before the baby challenge, she sat me down and said, ‘I can actually see myself having kids with you one day.’

“I was very surprised as it was such a change, but I was obviously very happy. I couldn’t stop smiling.”

And Tasha admits her U-turn was down to finding the right person in Andrew, adding: “It just goes to show that if you meet the right person your opinion can change. Now I’ve met Andrew and I can see it happening. You know when you have a vision in your head of your life further down the line? I can see it sometimes. It has changed because of Andrew.”

The pair have been inseparable since leaving the villa

The pair still don’t agree on how many to have – with Tasha keen on just the one and Andrew wanting two – but he is convinced he is able to change her mind and is looking forward to having the discussion in the years to come.

Andrew also admitted that after their great first date – which saw them be treated to a romantic meal on the beach surrounded by thousands of beautiful red roses, he would “have to step their proposal up a lot more”.

The estate agent spoke of how he wanted to propose to Tasha one day during his time in the villa, setting it as his plan for four years’ time, as he spoke of their close and unmistakeable bond.

In a chat in the villa, they talked about weddings and wedding dresses as Andrew told her: “Well babe, steady on, you’ve got at least four years,” with Tasha telling him she was “pretty sure” he would do it “sooner than that”.

“You think I’d propose to you sooner than three years?” Andrew replied, as Tasha then mused: “If we keep going the way we are going, yeah, I reckon so.” Andrew later admitted he didn’t think he’d actually find love on the show.
