Joe Wicks’ wealth hits a whopping £7 million after months as nation’s PE teacher

The Body Coach himself Joe Wicks has amassed a great deal of wealth during lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic and his popular online PE lessons

The Body Coach star Joe Wicks has amassed enough wealth to be worth £7 million.

The trainer and nutritionist has reached new heights of popularity as the nation has remained in lockdown due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

During his peak of YouTube viewership, Joe was getting a million viewers per session.

Now The Sun has revealed that his companies have reached a value of £7 million, after a spike of £1.6 million in the last year.

The Bodycoach Online Nutrition saw a jump of £2.3 million to £3.6 million in the run-up to the end of March.

Elsewhere, in the same period, Joe Wicks Limited saw a climb from £300,000 to nearly £3.5 million.

It is speculated that Joe will be made an MBE in the New Year Honours list from The Queen after he held daily live PE lessons on YouTube for the nation’s children – and adults – to take part in.

However, despite his increase in wealth during the early weeks of lockdown, Joe has given so much back to the NHS already.

Joe said previously: “I’m not benefiting financially, I’m giving it all back.”

At the end of last month, Joe was seen on social media throwing a socially-distanced birthday party for his two-year-old daughter India.

Joe’s little girl was given a birthday cake themed on Disney princess Moana.

The two celebrated alongside Joe and wife Rosie’s second child, seven-month-old baby boy Marley.

Weeks ago, Joe held his final PE lesson as lockdown restrictions were eased.

The video saw wife Rosie in tears and Joe himself was visibly touched by the outpouring of love too.

He said: “So that is the end of P.E with Joe! Thank you so much for taking part, thank you to everyone – to the teaching assistants, parents, the families, everyone who has taken part – I love it! Thank you so much I am going to miss you all!”

We think a rest is very well deserved!
