Olivia Newton-John’s daughter posts BTS video of pair’s duet
Previously unreleased photos of Olivia Newton-John have now been shared following her death, with the collection showing her performing at a concert in the mid-1970s.
It was announced earlier this week that Olivia, who had bravely battled breast cancer for 30 years, had passed away aged 73 at her ranch in California.
The news promoted an outpouring of tributes – including from some of her former Grease co-stars – as the singer, actor and activist is remembered for her life and career.
And as fans celebrate her legacy, previously unreleased photos of Olivia have been shared – showing the performer at a concert, believed to have been in around 1975.

The photos, obtained by SWNS, show her performing for an audience at a venue, which is believed to have been the Diplomat Hotel near Fort Lauderdale in Florida.
Olivia is seen in a floral dress, which features a flowing design, as she sings into a microphone in a couple of the throwback photos.
The photos were taken by an onlooker who did not wish to be identified but who has explained that they wanted them to be published following the news of her passing.
They’re believed to date back to circa 1975

The photographer commented recently: “After I heard the sad news of her passing I thought of these old photos and thought that her fans might like to see them.”
They said that at the time that Olivia was doing a hotel tour, with her setlist said to have included the popular singles Have You Never Been Mellow and I Honestly Love You.
Olivia had already enjoyed success as a singer by the time of the concert, having released six studio albums by 1976 – this included her having a number of chart-topping singles.

Her career by that point had also seen her represent the UK at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1974 with the song Long Live Love – which placed fourth in the contest overall.
It would be a few years before Olivia landed the role of Sandy Olsson in the musical film Grease (1978), which scored her three additional international Number 1 singles.
She later played the lead role of Kira in Xanadu (1980) and topped the charts twice more – released shortly before one of her best known singles, Physical, came out in 1981.

The news of her death was announced by her husband John Easterling, 70, earlier this week. He said in a statement that she passed away surrounded by family and friends.
He has since paid tribute to his late wife – who had initially been diagnosed with breast cancer in 1992, before it returned decades later – describing her as “courageous”.
John further commented about Olivia in an open letter: “In her most difficult times she always had the spirit, the humor, and the will power to move things into the light.”
