Rebekah Vardy arrives alone for last day of court case

Rebekah Vardy is seemingly keeping calm and collected ahead of the Wagatha Christie verdict being delivered, thanks to practising a spot of yoga with her daughter over the weekend.

The WAG, 40, is currently enjoying a break in Portugal alongside husband Jamie Vardy and her children, as she awaits a judge’s verdict on her high-profile defamation case against Coleen Rooney.

Rebekah – who recently slammed claims she fled her holiday home after Spanish wildfires – took to Instagram on Sunday night to share an adorable snap of herself and daughter Olivia Grace, two, practising some poses by a pool.

Showing off her toned physique in a black bikini, the WAG struck the Vrikshasana – or Tree Pose – position as her young child mirrored her actions.

The star – who is set to return to England this week – kept her brunette tresses away from her face with the help of a messy bun, and completed her poolside look with some bracelets and small hoop earrings.

“Rooted baby girl,” the mum-of-five captioned the cute snap to her 409,000 followers on Sunday. “With big sister giving a helping hand [heart-face emoji] #family.”

The star shares Olivia with Leicester City player Jamie, alongside six, and son Finley, four.

Rebekah is also mum to daughter Megan, 15, and Taylor, 11, from previous relationships.

“Love this, start them young,” one fan commented underneath Rebekah’s latest Instagram update over the weekend.

“Aww adorable,” another added, with former footballer Dennis Wise leaving a blue love-heart emoji as a comment.

“Vrikshasana or tree pose is associated with the root chakra,” one of the star’s followers noted in the comment section – referring to Rebekah’s caption regarding her yoga pose.

Many who practise mindfulness and yoga believe the body has seven spiritual chakras, all of which play a role in controlling exactly how energy flows across a person’s body.

The root chakra is located at the base of the spine and is said to provide a person with their base of foundation for life – helping them feel grounded and able to withstand challenges.

Rebekah is seemingly a believer of all things spiritual – even recently sharing a snap of one of her young children adopting a yoga pose and captioning it: “When you just want a zen life.”

The yoga-loving star’s final few days in Portugal comes as the verdict of her high-profile legal battle with fellow WAG Coleen is excepted to be revealed soon.

Rebekah launched the legal battle after Coleen accused the WAG’s Instagram account of leaking stories to the press about her private life back in October 2019.

Rebekah denies leaking stories to the media and is suing her fellow WAG for libel, while Coleen is defending the claim on the basis her post was “substantially true”.

The court case ended on May 19, and the WAGs must now wait to find out who has won the highly-publicised legal battle – with Mrs Justice Steyn saying she will rule at a later date when things wrapped up earlier this summer.
