Charlotte Dawson has shared her pregnancy news with her niece and nephew after they lost their dad to suicide.
The 29-year-old reality TV star, whose dad is the late Les Dawson, took to Instagram to share an adorable picture of herself cuddling her sister Sammy’s children, Sienna and Henry.
Sienna had a huge smile on her face as she held up Charlotte’s baby scan while her brother pulled a big grin for the camera.
The happy news comes after the children’s dad and Charlotte’s brother-in-law Glen took his own life.
His death came just weeks after his mum died of coronavirus.
In her post Charlotte called her pregnancy a “special gift” that had come at the right time after two tragedies rocked the family.
Charlotte wrote: “My little cherubs can’t wait to meet there little angel of a cousin.
“After everything we have been through lately as a family… this is such a special gift especially to my sissy @sammysuns.”
Charlotte announced the tragic news of Glen’s death on Instagram last month.
She said: “I can’t even believe I’m writing this… I feel sick. My beautiful sister @sammysuns & our family had the most devastating thing happen to us on Saturday morning.
“A family man, the best husband, father & brother in law we could of asked for sadly passed away unexpectedly taking his own life leaving all of us heartbroken especially my sister, his brave daughter @jesssouthernx and my baby niece & nephew who were his complete world, which breaks my heart.
“I promise to look after them forever my cherubs. We all don’t understand and will never know why.”
On Monday Charlotte announced she’s expecting her first child with boyfriend Matthew Sarsfield.
She told OK! : “I might have liked to go out and have a good time, but I know I’m going to be an amazing mum and will do anything for my baby.”
