Jersey Shore was a landmark show for reality television when it first aired in 2009, and it has since set a benchmark that spin offs like Geordie Shore have tried to emulate.

The show followed a group of young party-goers as they fought and laughed and drank in various cities around the world, including Seaside Heights, New Jersey in season one, South Beach, Florida in season two, and Florence, Italy in season four.

But, as one of the shows most famous stars from the show, Mike Sorentino turns 40, where have the cast ended up after their rise to fame?

Mike Sorrentino, 40

Arriving in the show aged 27, Mike enjoyed several years of fame before he went into rehab in March 2012 for an addiction to subscription drugs, according to Us magazine. He stayed for a few weeks, and then readmitted himself again in 2015 after a relapse. Since that stint however, he has remained sober.

A controversial figure, he was indicted for tax fraud in 2014, and pled guilty to one count of tax evasion.

He spent roughly eight months in prison from January 2019 until September 2019. He married his high school love Lauren Pesce in November 2018 and they had their first child Romeo in May 2021.

Since the show, he has landed his own reality television show called the Sorrentinos, which follows he and his family’s life after he shot to fame. He also appeared on Season 11 of dancing with the stars.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, his net worth is around $300,000 (£247k).
