DJ Akademiks thinks Tekashi 6ix9ine‘s life is in danger, and he should do whatever he must to stay safe now that he’s officially let out of house arrest. As most know, Tekashi 6ix9ine is persona non grata in the hip-hop world, and a lot of people are gunning for him.
The rapper ratted out his former associates in the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods, making him an instant target for other rappers, gang members, and even just social media commenters who want to see him go down in flames.
Fans of Tekashi 6ix9ine, born Daniel Hernandez, know he has been a controversial figure since the beginning. He has supposedly spoken disrespectfully of legends in the industry, including Nipsey Hussle, Pop Smoke, and XXXTentacion, Hot New Hip Hop claims, however, one could dispute this.
Ever since Tekashi 6ix9ine got out of prison after complaining of the coronavirus and its risk on his health due to his asthmatic condition, Tekashi 6ix9ine and DJ Akademiks have become good friends, regularly doing live streams together and even participating in a flamewar against Meek Mill.

In a recent video, DJ Akademiks said to the camera, “I want you to be safe man.” The media personality says he knows Tekashi 6ix9ine has something he wants to prove, something he wants to say to the world, but he doesn’t have to do that.
He doesn’t have to be out in the streets, risking his life just to show he’s not ashamed. Earlier this year, Tekashi 6ix9ine spoke on the death of XXXTentacion, using the rapper’s example of how private security could save a man’s life.
Hernandez explained the stigma surrounding private security in the hip-hop and the rap game, however, he says the smart thing to do is to hire bodyguards to make sure no one can sneak up from behind him.
Hernandez was obviously referencing the way XXXTentacion was targeted and gunned down near a Florida motorcycle shop. A recently published book suggested the shooters had noticed the rapper’s car already in the past.
