It’s been an incredible turnaround for Lily Allen since collapsing at Glastonbury in 2015.
This year, she performed on Saturday stone cold sober and says the gig has revitalised her passion for music so much she is planning to come out of retirement.
Lily said she was “quite emosh” to perform with Olivia Rodrigo who brought her on during her set to sing F*** You to the Supreme Court judges who overturned the historic Roe vs Wade judgment to ban abortion in America after almost 50 years.
The 37-year-old said: “I didn’t know whether I’d be able to get up on a stage like that sober again if I’m honest, a part of me thought it was all in the past.
“Who knows, maybe I won’t hang up my microphone just yet.”
She first quit music in 2009 to turn her attention to acting, but returned with a new album.

Earlier this year she starred on the West End stage in the play 2:22 A Ghost Story, to rave reviews.
In 2015, paramedics wrapped her in a foil blanket and gave her oxygen at the festival.
She has been sober since 2019, and wed Stranger Things actor David Harbour in 2020.
Lily’s performance was taken off the BBC ’s iPlayer coverage due to the explicit lyrics. The Beeb said: “The decision to edit this section of the performance was made solely because of the strong language used throughout.”

Fruity
Be careful what you ask for – you might just get it.
Singer Lorde requested blueberries on her rider, but someone got a bit carried away when they placed the order.
A source said: “They ended up with a whole fridge full.”
She’s one of few people on site who managed to eat any fruit this weekend.
