Seattle Mariners first baseman Ty France, the team’s most productive hitter, was placed on the 10-day injured list Saturday.
France has a left elbow sprain, sustained Thursday when his arm was bent after Sheldon Neuse of the Oakland Athletics collided with his glove.
Ty France is on the 10-IL but there's no timeline for his return at this point. Servais is sure he'll be anxious to start doing stuff at the end of that stint, but he'll have to see how it feels when he starts swinging a bat.

The 27-year-old told MLB.com he was optimistic that he won’t be out long.
Ty France said he is listening to his body with the elbow injury, having learned his lesson last year when he tried to play through a wrist injury. A lot of negative thoughts popped into his head when the injury first happened. He's relieved its not more serious.
