Thirteen years ago today, Holly Willoughby and husband Dan Baldwin said ‘I do’ in a gorgeous ceremony at St Michael’s Church in West Sussex followed by a reception for 150 people at the 900-year old Amberley Castle.

Dressed in an open-backed French lace gown she designed herself, the blushing bride looked radiant in a vintage veil and towering silver shoes designed by George Gyves.

Fearne Cotton, Sarah Cawood and Holly’s sister Kelly served as bridesmaids, wearing Alfred Sung white strapless gowns with black ribbon below the bust. On Dan’s side, TV host Dermot O’Leary was an usher.

Now, three children later and the couple is still going strong, regularly posing for loved-up selfies.

And while Holly is often coy about their love life, refusing to answer when an 80 year old This Morning guest asked how many times a week she and Dan have sex, it wasn’t always so.

The 39 year old once shared some of her very sexy secrets, revealing she’s a big fan of naughty games and of wearing towering heels for a roll in the hay.

Holly gave fans a saucy insight into her sex life with Dan

“I love wearing new shoes during sex – and not just because it’s kinky,” she told Look magazine in 2009.

“I’m not a foot fetishist or anything, and I do enjoy saucy games with my hubby,” she continued. “But I have found he best way to break in new shoes is to wear them during sex.”

“It’s become a sort of rule whenever I get a new pair of shoes. I always wear them in the bedroom – during the sex act – before I take them outside.

“Every girl loves a new pair of six-inch heels and I’m no different.”

The smitten star was just 24 when she met TV producer Dan when on kids’ TV show Ministry of Mayhem – which Holly was presenting – in 2005.

But it was far from love at first sight.

Holly had first met Dan, 45, two years earlier backstage at a Travis concert where he was hanging off his friends drunk, much to her disgust. And she was equally unimpressed when he joined the show.

She told pal Keith Lemon: “Dan was there as a new producer and I thought, ‘oh my God, I’m gonna hate this guy.’

“He’d come from MTV and he was very cool for school. He looked at me like I was this wally of a person. I thought, ‘Oh my God he hates me, he just thinks he’s really cool.'”

Holly wasn't a huge fans of Dan's to begin with

But the pair quickly became ‘best friends’ and a lingering look over a drink made her realise she had the hots for him.

She added: “We cheers-ed in regards to champagne and I looked at him and it was like, ‘Oh my God, I fancy him’.

“In that second I just knew, it was like a little sparkle.”

Having to only work Saturdays, they spent the rest of their ‘magical’ courtship going to gigs and lying in late. It was an “amazing, very carefree time,” said Holly.

Two years later they decided to move in together and on the very first night in their new home in London, Dan popped the question while Holly was in the bath.

“I know a lot of people almost have to force their boyfriend to propose but with Dan it was such a shock,” she previously recalled.

“I knew I’d be with him for the rest of my life, if he’d have me, but nothing can ever prepare you for what it’s like when someone asks you.

“I can’t think of any other big decision you make in your life that quickly.”

After their star-studded wedding, son Harry arrived in 2009 followed by Belle in 2011 and son Chester in 2014, completing the perfect picture.

As for the key to their success, Holly said it’s all about trust.

“We’re very honest with each other, we listen to each other,” she told The Sun in 2016.
