Coleen Nolan breaks silence as sisters Linda and Anne are both diagnosed with cancer

Coleen Nolan said her sisters Linda and Anne can recover after they both revealed they are battling cancer at the same time

Coleen Nolan has broken her silence after her sisters Linda and Anne revealed they are both battling cancer at the same time.

The Loose Women panelist took to Twitter to say they would both beat the disease.

Linda, 61, has incurable cancer is in her liver while Anne, 69, has stage three breast cancer.

They were diagnosed within days of each other.

Coleen tweeted: “They’ve beaten it before – they can beat it again.”

In a post shared by her management who run her page, the tweet continued: “Coleen’s brave sisters Linda and Anne sadly reveal they both have cancer again.”

It added: “Please keep them in your thoughts and well wishes X”

Linda and Anne were diagnosed just after they finished filming The Nolans Go Cruising.

They even endured a round of chemotherapy together at Blackpool’s Victoria Hospital last month.

Both Linda and Anne have now lost their hair.

Linda previously battled breast cancer in 2006, cellulitis and lymphoedema in her arm in 2007 and secondary cancer on her pelvis in 2017.

They’ve both revealed the moment they told their siblings about their illnesses.

Linda told The Sun : “We laughed and we cried really. It’s hysterical.

“Forget the Chemical Brothers, we’ve become the Chemo Sisters.”
