Piers Morgan just can’t pass up an opportunity to make a cheeky dig at his gorgeous wife – even on her birthday.
The Good Morning Britain presenter wished his wife well on her special day with a back handed post on his Instagram.
He posted a sultry throwback snap of Celia Walden as she celebrates her birthday today.
The stunning journalist could be seen posing in a white fishnet dress while clutching a copy of the now defunct News Of The World.
Celia looked radiant in the snap and cheeky Piers wrote in the caption: “Happy Birthday to my wife Celia.. aka The World’s Luckiest Woman.
“I only married her for her tatts.”
Journalist Celia, his “considerably better half”, is much lauded for having the patience of a saint to be able to put up with Piers on a daily basis.
Remarkably, during 10 years of marriage, the loved-up couple have only had three explosive rows – and she’s not afraid to mercilessly mock her husband in public too.
Piers started dating Celia back in 2006 after he separated from his first wife Marion Shallow.
The GMB host and his first wife, who share sons Albert, 19, Stanley, 22, and Spencer, 26, were married to from 1991 to 2008.
After divorcing Marion in 2008, Piers married Celia in June 2010 before the birth of their daughter Elise in November 2011.
Piers has claimed that the pair have only had three explosive showdowns in the 15 years they have been together.
“We don’t really argue. Because I spend all day shouting at people so I get home and I can’t be bothered,” he told actress Goldie Hawn during a GMB interview in May this year.
Stunned Susanna asked: “Seriously? So you spend three hours a day arguing with me for your job and that means that you don’t argue with Celia?”
Straight-faced Piers replied: “Yes seriously. In 15 years I can count on three fingers the amount of proper arguments. I just can’t be bothered.
“Once that doors shut give me a glass of wine, I’m easily pleased, and also I’m always right, she’s just accepted that. I don’t want all that frenzy.”
