BBC presenter Tina Daheley has told that she’s “beyond thrilled” to announce that she’s expecting.

She shared the news on Instagram this morning, telling that she’s expecting with fiance Kane Williams-Smith.

The 39-year-old shared a selfie cradling her blossoming bump and wrote: “Some exciting news to share! Beyond thrilled to be welcoming a new addition to our family in Spring 2021.

“Thank you @bbcradio2 family for all your lovely messages this morning.”

It will be her and Kane’s first child together.

She’s currently five and a half months into her pregnancy, expecting the new arrival in the spring on 2021.

She’s since been met with a flood of congratulations from fans, colleagues and celeb pals alike.

Radio 2 colleague and Strictly: It Takes Two host Zoe Ball wrote: “congratulations to our beautiful friend @tinadaheley …. talk about GLOW. #tinyhappypeople#tinytinahappypeople.”

Clara Amfo, Radio 1 DJ and Strictly star, offered: “gorgeous, congrats!”

Olympic legend Jessica Ennis chimed in: “Aww congratulations Tina.”

And Line Of Duty star Vicky McClure gushed: “Huge congratulations lovely! So happy for you both!”

Good Morning Britain’s Andi Oliver, meanwhile, wrote: “Oh AMAZING! Congratulations lovelies!! So happy for you.”

Tina works closely with Zoe, reading the news, sport and weather during her Radio 2 Breakfast Show.

And she even shared the happy news over the airwaves this morning.

Tina’s previous gigs have included news reading during Chris Moyles’ show during his Radio 1 days, and during Nick Grimshaw’s time at the stations Breakfast Show slot.

She also co-presented BBC Three’s Free Speech with Rich Edwards, and as of May 2018, she can be seen each evening at 6pm and 10pm for BBC News.

And in 2016, she joined Jeremy Vine as one of the hosts of Crimewatch.
