Hannah Spearritt has welcomed a second baby after keeping her pregnancy a secret.

The S Club 7 star, 39, shared the news on Twitter after choosing not to reveal she was pregnant this time around.

She has welcomed another baby girl, who she has named Tora.

Hannah tweeted: “SURPRISE! We are pleased to announce that we recently welcomed baby number two!”

She is already mum to one-year-old daughter Taya with her partner Adam Thomas.

The new mum-of-two shared the news with Hello magazine, and recorded a video of herself holding her baby, with the tot also playing with little Taya in the clip.

In the video, which also features Adam, she said: “I always wanted more than one so it made sense to have another one as quickly as possible.

“We’ve been lucky with my mum, we’ve had a lot of help which has been absolutely wonderful.”

She explained that Tora’s name means Tiger and goddess of thunder, but joked that the little one has not lived up to her name yet.

Hannah said Taya had been a great big sister to Tora.

She said: “She’s been really, really good with her. Gentle. No sign of jealousy yet which is a relief.”

Hannah shot to fame in 1999 with the pop band S Club 7.

Famed for songs like Reach and Don’t Stop Movin’, S Club 7 had four UK No1 singles and one UK No1 album.

During her time in the band Hannah dated her bandmate Paul Cattermole.

The group split up in 2003.

After leaving music she turned to a career in acting.

She starred as Abby Maitland in Primeval and also had a stint in EastEnders as Kandice Taylor.

Hannah first started dating Adam in 2013 but they split in 2015 before getting back together in 2018.

They welcomed their first daughter Taya in December 2018.

The news came after Hannah suffered several miscarriages.

Hannah told OK! Magazine the pregnancy had come as an ‘amazing surprise.’

At the time Adam said they had been wanting a child but were worried Hannah’s past health problems could lead to complications.

After undergoing breast implants in 2013, Hannah suffered with chronic fatigue, memory loss and hair loss.
