With the intimate routines and intense training schedules, romance regularly blooms between the Strictly Come Dancing celebs and their professional partners.
From dancer Diane Buswell and vlogger Joe Suggs to winner Kevin Clifton and his showbiz partner-turned-girlfriend Stacey Dooley, many a couple has been formed on the BBC One show.
And this year it’s Good Morning Britain journalist Ranvir Singh and her pro partner Giovanni Pernice who have got everyone talking.
With their passionate dances and clear chemistry, fans are desperate for the two singletons to get together.
And despite their denials, body language expert Judi James says the signs suggest there could be genuine feelings between the pair…
“Ranvir and Giovanni have created some breath-taking moments of sexual passion during their routines.
“And after some unnecessary and rather boring denial statements and coyness rituals, last week saw Ranvir and Giovanni throw caution to the wind and let rip by staying firmly in role both on and off the dancefloor.
“They played a romantic, married couple during their dance and they sustained those romance signals as they stood together on the balcony, waiting for their scores.
“Ranvir still seems to have issues with her body confidence and many of Giovanni’s body language signals appear aimed at lifting her spirits when she takes some of the judges’ criticisms to heart.
“He offers a series of tender-looking reassurance rituals like head-kisses, strokes and smiles, presumably aware that a rather besotted-looking Ranvir will be fretting she’s let him down in some way.
“Ranvir’s recent rituals are fascinating as she appears to engineer subtle cues for a hug as she gazes up into Giovanni’s eyes with a look of adoration bordering on hero-worship.
“This kind of behaviour is common on Strictly, where celebs get professional crush on their dance coaches as a result of spending many intense hours being totally compliant to them.
“This is probably one of the most congruent matches though, with Ranvir’s body language suggesting a desire to please, and both their rituals showing high levels of trust and bonding.
“Like all good dance partnerships, Ranvir and Giovanni’s torsos fit like pieces of a jig-saw puzzle.
“When they dance their bodies look welded together and when they stand together like this they join up like magnets.
“When Giovanni hangs one arm around Ranvir’s shoulders she places her hand over his to clasp it in a reciprocal gesture of approval. Giovanni’s lip-licking gesture suggests he’s enjoying Ranvir’s company.
“We can see the way this couple love using eye contact and rather prolonged bouts, too. Eye-to-eye gazing is a common trait for couples in love – but it can also signal high levels of trust and bonding in an intimate but non-sexual relationship.”
