Mariah Carey’s secret signals to Jennifer Hudson and Ariana Grande in Oh Santa video

Mariah Carey has teamed up with mega-vocalists Jennifer Hudson and Ariana Grande in her newest festive hit.
And the world-famous singer, 50, appeared to ensure she was the main event in the music video for Oh Santa, with fans noticing that she cemented her title as head diva with a few subtle tricks.
As the footage begins – set in Santa’s workshop with dancing elves – Mariah can be seen solo on a platform in the middle of the set.
She throws magic dust into the distance and Jennifer appears, followed by Ariana, who are both beckoned on stage by Mariah.
Both Ariana, 27, and Jennifer, 39, can be seen in the clip dressed in forest green outfits.
Ari wows in a velvet skater dress teamed with a matching bow in her hair and Jennifer dons a slinky sequinned gown in the same colour with mesh gloves that feature an unusual fingertip-less design that allows her glitzy manicure to be seen.
Instead of colour coordinating with her two colleagues, Mariah can be seen styled in a tartan mini skirt that features a daring split and bodice with a plunging neckline crafted out of olive green and festive red materials.
The subtle difference in the colour palette and flesh-flashing ensemble ensures that the vocal powerhouse stands out just a little more than her two collaborators.

Elsewhere in the video, Mariah seems to urge Ariana to hit a higher note as she gestures up to the air while looking at her as they harmonize.
And in another section when Mariah does some vocal gymnastics, she seems to project that she is the lead as she places her hand on Jennifer’s shoulder.
A number of fans left comments under the YouTube post where they hailed Mariah for being the Queen of Christmas, and others joked that she still managed to be front and centre despite being joined by two other divas.
One typed: “Mariah Carey is our generation’s most recognizable artist during Christmas season. She’s synonymous to the year’s most joyful time.”
A second added: “You know that this is a perfect combination vocal and aesthetic wise, Ariana with the soft and silky tone with great whistles, JHud with the power and high belts, and Mariah owning it all LMAOOO.”
A third typed: “This is the real-life version of Mean Girls. Good but Mariah doesn’t half think she’s the main attraction and Ariana has been given backing vocals at best.”
Others penned: “What the heck did I just witness!!!
