AJ Pritchard’s family have taken a swipe at some his campmates by liking accusations of being ‘fake’ before he was evicted from I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
While AJ was in the castle camp, it is believed his family took over his social media to promote his stay on the ITV show.
The 26-year-old former Strictly Come Dancing professional had a bumpy relationship with EastEnders star Shane Richie.
The pair had clashed after the professional dancer felt that the actor was not pulling his weight in camp, after the chores had been dished out.
In a camp which was pretty harmonious for the best part of the series, the ‘feud’ between Shane and AJ was the only words of discontent and conflict that ITV producers could latch on to.
AJ’s time in the Gwrych Castle camp came to an end on Wednesday, when viewers voted him off alongside gold-winning athlete, Sir Mo Farah.
Before he left the castle, it would seem that his family had a dig at some of his campmates, accusing them of being ‘fake’ and “playing up to the cameras”.
The Strictly star’s Twitter account liked a tweet from a fan ahead of the evictions, who made the accusations as well as saying that they would switch off the show if AJ is given the chop.
The tweet that was liked, read: “If both @Mo_Farah and @Aj11Ace go tonight in the double eviction don’t think I will be bothered to watch the rest of the show as they are the only ones I am tuning in for tbh. Most genuine and down to Earth, not playing up to the cameras all the time #ImACeleb #ajpritchard”
This would be followed by AJ having a little pop at Shane Richie during his exit interview with Ant and Dec, in which he said he was ‘frustrated’ by Shane’s actions.
He hit out at Shane, saying: “If you’re gonna do a job, do it properly.”
When asked if it had made him frustrated, he replied: “Maybe, I’m not going to lie!”
AJ added that he felt that the situation could have be dealt with in a better way than it was.
He continued: “I think the thing is resolving problems rather than letting them fester.”
